Judgement before catalogue
We start not only from what to make, but from what it is for and how it will actually be used. Not only how it looks or what it costs — a product that can go on being used.
Who we are
In professional barware there are things an off-the-shelf product cannot solve. Fitting how one bar actually works — its service, its operation, its own idea of itself — is where a catalogue item falls just short. BARSOUL exists to give that last bit of distance a shape.
Definition
BARSOUL is
A professional barware company with its own supply, development and delivery capability.
A Japanese legal entity that contracts, invoices and answers for its products in Japan.
A development partner that takes a requirement through to a manufactured product.
A single counterpart for sourcing, quality, packing, delivery and after-sales.
BARSOUL is not
A general trading house that will supply anything to anyone.
A factory. We manage manufacturing at partner factories and never describe them as ours.
A drop-shipping reseller with a catalogue it has never touched.
A cocktail or lifestyle brand. We supply the tools, not the drinks.
Capability map
From planning through manufacturing to delivery: what we operate today, and how far each part reaches. Every line has an owner inside the company, and we tell you what we can and cannot handle.
| Capability | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Japan sourcing | Japanese manufacturers, specialist brands and long-standing supplier relationships. |
| Professional catalogue | A sourcing range, stated as sourcing capability rather than as permanent stock. |
| Wholesale & B2B supply | Product mix, quantity, quotation, lead time and continuity for venues and resellers. |
| Manufacturing management | Factory collaboration, supply chain, cost control, QC, packaging and continuous revision. |
| Product development | Requirement, research, design, 3D/CAD, prototype, revision, tooling, production, delivery. |
| OEM / ODM / custom | Logo, private label, special specification, packaging and custom production — assessed per project. |
| Special sourcing | Finding what the catalogue does not contain, and saying so when it cannot be found. |
| Global delivery | Domestic and international shipping, logistics coordination and after-sales. |
| Customer experience | Japanese-language communication, quality confirmation, supplier coordination, returns and follow-up. |
| E-commerce capability | Product presentation, pricing, payment, orders, inventory, fulfilment, service and data. |
| Creator commerce infrastructure | Selection, storefront, stock, payment, fulfilment and support behind a creator’s recommendation. |
| Brand & business partnership | Product, retail, channel, content, distribution and international collaboration. |
How we work
We start not only from what to make, but from what it is for and how it will actually be used. Not only how it looks or what it costs — a product that can go on being used.
When something is difficult to realise, we tell you why. Sharing the possibilities and the risks early costs far less than finding the problem after the tooling has been cut.
We coordinate the suppliers, the factories, the inspection and the forwarder on your behalf. You do not deal with several companies separately: from first enquiry to delivery, it runs through one desk.
A product list, a specification, or simply what you are stuck on — it does not have to be tidy. We work through what you send and come back with what is possible and what is difficult.
